Global Partners:

The Church of Jesus is not something we do solely. No, we stand on the shoulders of women and men who have gone before us, who have paved the way in faith. While we stand on shoulders we also link arms with brothers and sisters around the world who seek to love God and others as well. Specifically, we partner with three global organizations:

1 / Daughters of Cambodia (Phnom Penh, Cambodia)

Daughters is a Christian organization that rescues girls out of human trafficking in Cambodia.  [Human trafficking is the recruitment, harboring, and transportation of people solely for the purpose of exploitation.]  Through the staff and resources of the Daughters’ Day Centre, victims of trafficking are supported in their efforts to leave the sex industry. Daughters‘ aim is to restore dignity and self-worth and to help girls find viable alternatives for their lives. Learn more at daughtersofcambodia.org

2 / A Church Planter (India)

Their goal is to train up and support native missionaries and pastors in remote villages in order to preach the Gospel, develop children’s ministries, facilitate Bible studies, pray for the sick and needy, and to reach out to the poorest of the poor (especially lepers in the leper colonies). With just $90 per month, they are able to entirely support a pastor.

3 / A missionary couple (undisclosed location)

Since our beginning, we have supported a missionary couple serving Muslims in Southeast Asia. Due to hostility toward Christians in the country in which they live and serve, we are unable to make their information known on our website. It has been a joy to partner with this family through prayer, financial support, and friendship and we are grateful for their faithful work to Christ in the midst of significant difficulty.

Local Partners:

Jeremiah 29 says, “Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Locally, we seek the peace and the prosperity of our immediate context, striving to see it flourish. We also seek to partner with already existing organizations we are doing credible and effective work in our community among people groups close to the heart of God.

1 / Manna on Main

Manna is a soup kitchen, food pantry, and assistance agency providing food, transitional housing, and emergency assistance for those in need in the North Penn region. Check out mannaonmain.org

2 / The North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club works with and serves hundreds of students in Lansdale and the surrounding region through tutoring, life-skills classes, after-school care, physical exercise, and a variety of other ways in order to build into and build up the next generation. Check out npvclub.org

Networks:

While we are not a member of a denomination we believe strongly that we need to be a part of something larger than ourselves. We believe that connecting to the larger Body of Christ is important; thus, no church should go at it alone.

1 / The Ecclesia Network

One of the ways Renew stays connected to the Body is through The Ecclesia Network. Ecclesia is a growing relational network of churches, leaders, and movements who seek to partner, equip and multiply other churches. You can read more about the network and see other churches that are part of this network at ecclesianet.org
